for some reason you link hijacked me to an evil microsoft page. I scrolled through your archives and found Tim anyway.
I find mentions of fish so evocative. The whole post paints such a picture for me, and "great name."
Yes, Mr. Fern is a great name for someone who takes people into the great outdoors.
mm, oops sorry, laptops i find difficult to cut and paste.:p
mr. fern was really cool. he had 19 students, in the entire school, all ages. so we didn't have desks, we had work bins, and there were stations set up throughout the school. ie, the language arts station. everyday we would fill out a chit sheet with our name, and the date and then proceed to visit all the stations to pick up where we left off. our pace, our own routine. then we would attach our work to the chit and pass it in. the older students often helped us younger kids. because he had such a small group we often left the school to go do stuff. we also did a week long survival course where we built leanto's (sp?) and fire's and survival kits.
I wonder if Mr. Fern is still teaching? I'd like to sign-up.
I keep coming back here but there's nothing but Mr. Fern. I want something new, Jane.
If this keeps up I'll be forced to write about Mr. Bumstead. No, no relation to Dagwood. He was a history teacher.
You have been warned.
well you simply must write about mr. bumstead now.
